The company further promotes the formation of important and well distributed ecological corridors, thus contributing for the preservation of a rich biodiversity, protecting the existing water resources and collaborating for the displacement of the fauna and gene flow. The total of these areas is 3,800 hectares, distributed over 7 ecological corridors. In a next step in its planning, the forest area is preparing to act to interconnect these corridors.
