At the Ministry of Agriculture, it is found registered as “acidity corrective”. It is a limestone and it carries the power of neutralization, which can reach up to 97%.

This residue is formed by the burning of the steam-generating boilers. Used in composting as a component of the substrate in seedling nurseries, as a raw material for the manufacturing of activated carbon, as a pozzolanic agent in cement, in the pre-molded industries and in the recovery of degraded areas.

Comprised of approximately 35% of organic matter, it contains macro and micronutrients. Used as biomass in steal generating boilers, in composting and as a substrate component in seedling nurseries.
